      Pros

      Management is open and honest; listens to employees' concerns and career goals and tries to accommodate them (not always an easy task given the nature of professional services). Great work-life balance compared to similar firms. Clear track for advancement and promotions/raises come fast if you perform. Opportunity to try new projects and gain different experience.

      Cons

      Benefits are ok. Compensation does not start out very high (especially noticeable in the more expensive markets). Some projects will be very boring compared to others. SOX-related work can be monotonous and hard to see the value you are contributing.

      Pros

      Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

      Cons

      Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
