Pros

- Coworkers and management are very nice and engaged - Benefits are nice and HR uses feedback from employees to update employee perks - Pay could be better but it's not terrible - Protiviti is handling the COVID-19 pandemic fairly and responsibly

Cons

- Work-life balance is nonexistent. The workload is overwhelming and teammates are often burned out (we often work nights & weekends on top of a 40 hour work week). - High-stress and often unrealistic expectations. I've often had to sign in and work during CTO in order to put out fires with my projects

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
