Pros

Travelling to different client locations makes you learn a lot ( though you cab get that in better firm's as well). Other than this, no pros.

Cons

1. The HR team sucks. They will make your life hell. U will feel like you are back in school. They will make sure your exit formalities become very very painful. 2. The company will make you sign a bond and will ask you to pay if u decide to leave before two years. I paid around a lakh. Legally this is not allowed, however they will not give you experience letter till then. Neither will they give you the payable amount in writing since they know its illegal. Probably thats one way the company is making revenue as I have not heard of any other company being so harsh. Everyone in the firm will turn hostile once u resign. 3. You will be treated like a servant flooded with work with a pay structure that is abysmal. 4. No growth. Getting a promotion at protiviti is a pain no matter how hard u work, management will find flaws in ur work. 5. They do not believe in providing any facilties to their employees. Be it food or transport. In short the company gets everything from its employees but gives nothing in return other than a very low salary structure. I can certainly list many more cons here.Nothing good can come out of working at this place. Its a total wastage of your time to be here.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
