Pros

Great place to start your career if you are fortunate to have a good understanding manager. Great Projects and hence alot of work and many clients which is good experience. Good amounts of training.

Cons

1. Poor salaries. Often they underpay their employees whereas the MDs mints a lot of money. 2. Work life balance is completely ruined. They expect you to work on a 24 * 7 basis and pay you peanuts for the same. They expect you to work on holidays and as well after working hours. 3. They have a screwed up set of HR team who don't know what they are doing or why they exist 4. Some level of the management treats employees as dogs. 5. They expect you to complete all projects 2 weeks before time in order to increase their profitability. However the same is NEVER reflected in bonus and appraisals

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
