Pros

This is one of the most collaborative, caring organizations. New people are readily accepted. Many programs focused on helping the individual succeed. World-class capabilities in many areas--IT Security, Regulatory Compliance, Lender Diligence/Credit Risk, Internal Audit, SOX & Internal Controls, Restructuring and several others. Investing to make other capabilities world class as well. Individuals have a voice and can make a direct impact in success of the firm. Professionals at all levels have access to leadership and regularly interact with senior leaders. Senior Leaders are highly accessible. Ideas are welcomed and often are the catalyst for improvement and change. Great blend of experienced hires and home-grown consulting professionals. High growth environment. Firm continues to expand.

Cons

1. Sometimes we are the "best kept secret' in the market. The market is still learning who we are and our full suite of capabilities. Brand continues to become better known with each passing year but not yet on par with 100-year old competitors. 2. While we are highly entrepreneurial, sometimes it feels like our infrastructure and support could be stronger for a company that exceeds half a billion dollars in revenue. 3. Still advancing our global capabilities. This is an opportunity medium term but can be a challenge short term. Management is very focused on this though.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
