      Pros

      The people and culture - Everyone knows you by your name and the MDs and Executive MDs take the time to listen to your ideas, opinions and career aspirations. There is a real sense of being more that just an employee, the firm goes out of it's way to ensure that you are plugged in and on-board with the strategy of the company.

      Cons

      Expense reports are a manual process. Yes, you heard me correctly. You mail in receipts twice a month.

      Pros

      Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

      Cons

      Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
