Pros

- Great work life balance - Probably the best group of people I have ever worked with - Empower you to take on more difficult tasks if you take initiative - Opportunity to travel (though it may not always be the nicest locations, you get some good places) - Gives you a chance to be a part of a large firm that is still growing, so you can contribute to its success and not just be a bystander - Salary is very fair

Cons

- Most of the cons are just due to the nature of consulting (excessive travel, skin-deep on most processes, etc.) and not an issue with Protiviti itself - Benefits need to be updated drastically

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
