Pros

-Supports employee's growth through challenging projects and mentorship (formal and informal) -Vocal in providing mental health support and benefits as a whole -Work life balance is actually incredible, it's not just a trendy thing leadership talks about -Variety of network groups -Leadership is open with employees on the direction of organization -Hybrid, as long as client needs are met you can typically work remote as much or as little as you want

Cons

-smaller/short term projects can sometimes be a little disorganized, but that is entirely dependent on managers and what the deliverable is

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
