Transparent and genuinely caring leadership; operations are understaffed - Manager Protiviti Employee Review

Pros

Leaders really do care and have a true open-door policy Supportive environment with a genuine emphasis on inclusion Lots of training and mentoring opportunities if you're a consultant

Cons

I've never had a mentor or career advisor here because I'm in operations and there is apparently no structure for this. If you are a consultant, there's a clear career path and if you work hard, you will probably make it. Operations are struggling to keep up with the company's growth and keep systems and processes up to date

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
