Pros

At Protiviti I have experienced growth and a family away from my home. People take an interest into who I am and who I wish to become. The people I work with challenge me on a daily basis and make me want to improve into a better professional. The CEO is interested in his people and shares this openly through email communication to their direct superiours. I think this was shown by the entire Executive Team being present at the Intern Challenge showing their support of the future of the Protiviti organization.

Cons

There are travel demands at Protiviti, but if you work with your project manager in advance you will be at home when you need to be for important events.

Pros

Great opportunity to grow as an individual based off of your technical and behavioral skillset.

Cons

If you are not assigned to a client, you could be on the bench which will affect your bonus.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
