Pros

Protiviti is a great place to work. Everyone is friendly and supportive, so while the hours can be challenging at times, management goes to great lengths to recognize the effort you put in. Lots of variety in the types of engagements, places, and people you'll get exposure to.

Cons

Hours can be difficult at times depending on the engagement. As the company continues to grow at an amazing rate, it's difficult to maintain the same kind of close-knit atmosphere. That being said, Management regularly meets with employees at all levels to seek out what they can do better to keep employees happy and maintain the culture while still growing.

I'm glad you took the time to provide your feedback! We are pleased that Protiviti is working out for you. As we keep growing, we are also working hard to maintain the special culture that we have. We just ran the pilot of our new onboarding program for experienced hires in which we better elaborate on our values, promises, culture and expectations. Let us know if you have further thoughts.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
