Pros

Met some nice people at the firm who are actually willing to teach and learn. fun office events great mentor program passport program is great too.

Cons

Unfortunately, my experience here was terrible. I was told I ask stupid questions and am not capable of performing the job. I was new at the firm and instead of using it as an opportunity for constructive criticism, they choose to rip me apart instead. Senior consultant clearly threw me under the bus and did not want to help me out. Every other person I worked with said I was a good worker. I was told to eat time and actually had to change my time sheet a few times. They expected me to know things about the firm I was never told about or informed. The exit interview was a joke, it was only a few minutes long and showed that HR was not going to look into what happened to me.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
