Pros

Work-life balance is great here! Start out with close to 20 vacation days and have never had a problem with using them. Most of us are working 40-45 hours max every week. The people here are great too! Everyone wants to succeed and will help you through challenging client needs. There are a ton of social events throughout the year including happy hours, town halls, golf tournaments, community service events etc.

Cons

The downside of this company is that we are heavy on audit. We do have some consulting but we really are heavy on internal audit and SOX. Our benefits could be better. 401k matching is very little however, management has said recently that they are working to improve that.

Great opportunity to grow as an individual based off of your technical and behavioral skillset.

Cons

If you are not assigned to a client, you could be on the bench which will affect your bonus.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
