      Pros

      There is alot of chances for people to get put on some very interesting projects that will push their career. Being forced to learn things on the spot really makes everyone good at what they do.

      Cons

      Protiviti is currently conducting a huge firing spree. So far have let go close to 200 personnel. This was mostly created due to a hiring initiative that overestimated the amount of available projects that protiviti would have on their books. Management has shut down concerns of numerous employees under senior status, and have even placed employees in the wrong function based on outdated staffing methodologies. If you want to make it big in protivi do not come in as a consultant 1 or 2 and be ready to play politics.

      Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

      Cons

      Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
