Pros

Easy time off on large projects

Cons

when starting a project, training is not long but the lack of knowledge on a client is large that 9-11 hour work days are almost required or you will fall behind.

Our benefits, particularly CTO, are a key in helping to maintain a strong work life balance - we're glad you've been able to take advantage. In regards to training, we hope that you will share that feedback with your Talent Management team or directly with the Engagement Manager, if comfortable. These are important points that leaders on that particular client need to be made aware of.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
