I've been a professional for a very long time, been with many other companies and I have to say that Protiviti, by far, is the best place I've worked for hands down. The work culture is amazing, they pride themselves on their employees and their clients and that shines through the bleakness of corporate life... just look at how many awards they have earned for best company to work for not only nationally but regionally and locally.

Cons

It can sometimes be difficult to find someone for a specific duty but the structure of the company is set in such a way that it's not really a hindrance.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
