Worst Human Resources I've Dealt With - Anonymous employee Providence Employee Review

Honestly, one of the worst HR departments I have ever dealt with. In speaking with my peers about my issues with HR, they have all been able to share an equally terrible experience. FYI, if you are an external hire, HR will treat you with passable respect but once you become an employee, forget it. Career development is not supported and your drive to become a better professional will be, at best, ignored but mostly likely passive aggressively discouraged. I"m sure that the department leadership that I worked had similar issues and maybe another department would not be quite as bad. For the most part, it starts at the top and is ingrained into the Providence culture.
