Pros
Walks the talk of community focused, non-profit hospital - never turn away d/t lack of resources. The doors are open and the empoyees are getting paid, so we're doing well in comparison to other busy hospitals in growing communities. Always looking for ways to improve services while saving money.
Cons
Recent changes in health care environment has made it a challenge with the growth in the region to keep up with demand when resources are limited. High stress trying to meet the needs of our patients, and living with that stress when meeting their needs is not possible.
