Pros
It's a large and well respected company. The facilities are up to date for the most part and they are constantly working to improve things about the workplace (i.e. replacing carpeting, monitors) I know quite a few people who have worked at Prudential for almost ten years and they have nothing but good things to say about it. They serve pretty good food in their cafeteria. The managers in the Disbursement department are friendly enough and easy to get along with. I like the fact that they hold monthly meetings with each individual associate as a sort of "mini performance review". They also provide 90% tuition reimbursement and offer classes AT Prudential so you dont have to go far to learn.
Cons
When I first started, the employees werent exactly falling all over themselves to make me feel welcome, but now that I've been there for almost six months, they've warmed up to me. Also, it doesnt seem as if theres a whole lot of opportunity for advancement, but that may be because of the state the economy is currently in.
