Building Stronger Resident–Caregiver Relationships - Certified Nursing Assistant CNA PruittHealth Employee Review

Pros

The staff are friendly and answer all my questions

Cons

One concern I have is that the schedule frequently moves me to different stations instead of keeping me with the residents assigned to my regular rotation. When I’m consistently assigned to the same residents, I get to know their routines, preferences, and care needs, which helps me provide better, more efficient care. Being moved often makes it harder to build that familiarity and can affect the continuity of care for the residents.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
