Pros

If you have the administrator that I have, you are lucky. If you have the ones I have seen in other homes, I feel for you. My administrator follows the rules despite popularity. She supports me in my position and helps me in maintaining the regulations for infection prevention and isolation precautions especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Cons

No retirement program, you have no access to your 401K for several years after you leave the company. Had I known that, I would not have started contributing to that program. I would have done a direct contribution to mt existing 401K I had @ another company. Only one paid hidalgo per year! REALLY! Never have I ever! How cheap can you get! The health insurance is so lame and expensive! Thank the good Lord I am a military dependent and have no need for that I insurance. I understand why so many of our employees either have no insurance or are on medicaid.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
