      Pros

      The passion of my co-workers. We all worked as a beautifully functional team to give our patients excellent care. I loved my job and never thought I would leave.

      Cons

      Management! They are so out of touch with what actually is happening and needed at the facility. They have all kinds of ideas about how to change to cut costs with no regard for how the changes interfere with patient care. I have never seen such an irresponsible attitude with training of staff. I found a new job with better benefits, better pay, better staffing ratios and a sincere commitment to patient care. Honestly I would neither recommend anyone I know work there or become a patient there. That ship is sinking.

      Pros

      Most of the floor staff is great to work with. DHS is great but corporate and the administrator needs to let her do her job!

      Cons

      When they say “we are a family here” they mean a very dysfunctional family. Administrator says he’s “got your back” only to stab you in it the next moment. Absolutely zero belief in his ability to truly lead. Very cliquey. If you are in you’re in. If you are out, you are WAY out. Covers up severe violations and behaviors. Behavior that SHOULD have gotten people fired. A very “by the book” guy unless it’s something that could negatively affect him. He does not follow HR procedures. Turnover is sky high! You hardly know the other employees because so many fail to stay. Many don’t even last through orientation.
