Pros

I have, for the most part enjoyed my time at Pruitt Health. I love interacting with the residents, as you never know what you're going to get from one moment to the next. I enjoy my co-workers they help keep me going throughout the day. A positive attitude at work can truly make a great work environment. Having 401k is great too. I enjoy a challenge, and with this type of work environment you never know what's coming next. There is always opportunity for advancement.

Cons

The cost of individual Health insurance isn't bad but if you would like to insure your family it's nearly impossible for most employees. High turnover rate, I have seen quite a few good individuals come and go, even individuals that had been with the company many years. Staffing shortages, not enough good quality hard working employees to cover the ever growing workloads. Not enough training, individuals are hired for positions but not properly trained as to the expectations of Pruitt Health, what was good for the previous job they were at may not meet the expectations of Pruitt Standards. Lack of stability in management, In the short time I have been with the company I have worked under 6 different administrators at 2 different facilities.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
