Pros

There are not late shifts to work. You have the opportunity to be an onsite manager with an apartment fro a lower payrate.

Cons

The company created scripts for every interaction with a customer that you must follow and are tested regularly by the District Manager on your knowledge of these scripts. They want you to sell their overpriced boxes and moving supplies to every customer that walks in the door to rent a space with a lousy bonus program that only rewards the top few employees. Public Storage does not care about line level employees nor their customers. I watched them sell off a terminally ill man's unit who was waiting on a government check to make a payment. You also get put in a really bad spot as an employee when a tenant's unit gets broken into. Even if they buy the insurance (from a the insurance company Public Storage owns) the tenant will 9 times out of 10 NOT get a payout. Even after 30 plus units got broken into over a month's time the company did literally nothing to make the property more secure. Also there is no opportunity for advancement. Line level employees will never do better than being an onsite property manager.

Pros

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this company! Great atmosphere, amazing support and teamwork! DM 0325 Krisitina is phenomenal when it comes to her role, support and associate encouragement. No micromanagement, and you are fully handed all the tools you need to be successful in this company. Pay is fair and hours very reasonable. Job duties are simple and the company stands firmly behind true customer service!

Cons

NONE...we all prove daily here together as a team!

Pros

I'm genuinely grateful to be part of the Public Storage family. From the very beginning, I've felt supported, encouraged, and welcomed by everyone I've had the opportunity to work with. A special thank you to Javon, our District Manager, whose leadership, professionalism, and genuine care for the team have made a lasting impression on me. His positive attitude and commitment to helping others succeed create an environment where people want to do their best. I'd also like to recognize Akia, my trainer, for being so patient, knowledgeable, and encouraging. She has made my onboarding experience enjoyable and has given me the confidence to grow in my role every day. I'm also thankful for Jimmy, Bree, Tabitha, Kevin, and every other Public Storage team member I've worked alongside. Each person has been welcoming, supportive, and willing to share their knowledge. Working with such an amazing group of people has shown me what a strong team culture looks like, and I know I'll have the opportunity to meet and learn from many more incredible coworkers as my journey continues. What excites me most is knowing that I've found a company where I can build a long-term career. It's rare to find a workplace that values its people while also providing opportunities to grow, and I truly believe Public Storage is a place where I can continue to learn, contribute, and eventually retire after a fulfilling career. Thank you again for making me feel like part of the team. I'm proud to be here, and I'm excited for everything the future holds with Public Storage.

Cons

Love it here none that I can think of.
