Generally the environment is clean and the store is air conditioned. Most of the time I worked with people who would work 'with' me. Publix offered a set schedule for me, which was a plus. There was alot of person to person contact with the customers, and I like that a great deal. They do offer benefits that are said to be very good; but I can't claim to really have a comparison, so I don't really know.
