Pros

The coworkers were nice and sometimes understanding, managers try to give you enough days off when needed and not try to push you to hard. Sometimes teach you new things and help out when you need it the most.

Cons

There was a lack of training and it felt like I only knew one thing to do. For example I did get some training about how to do my job of course but the rest I had to self taught or had to bug to learn something to not to make customers mad. Short break time, break room was disgusting and the the location where I worked at was bad and needs a upgrade. I'm a huge clean freak so most of my time working there I was highly uncomfortable. I don't know if it's just in general when it comes to Food/Retail related but customers were so disrespectful no matter how hard you try...It was so hard to stay when 90% of the time customers would just grill you over the smallest mistakes you make.

Pros

Good compensation including not just standard pay, but also end of year bonus 80 hours for hourly associates, 8% of your annual earnings granted to you in free company stock thru which quarterly dividends are paid, ok 401k, and gift card and other associate coupons. Good stability and growth. Good company culture.

Cons

Can be slow and resistant to change. Uses some antiquated systems and software that should have been replaced years ago. Does some things that don't make sense. Some managers can be good, while others not very good. Although these cons may be true for a lot of companies. All roads eventually lead to Lakeland where they are headquartered. Geography can be a big one if you are not a Florida native. If you don't want to live in Florida for some legitimate reasons, there can be limited job options in other states, especially if you aren't interested in retail or warehouse jobs. Standard retail negatives about not having a lot of holidays off.
