Pros

- Lot's of opportunity to learn - Variety of projects and teams - Progressively striving to be more modern - Full Robust IT department - Work life balance is great regarding PTO/Vacation time - You get out what you put in concerning advancement and developing skill - if you actively pursue challenge projects and tasks, you will be rewarded for it. - End of year bonus - Option to use some of your bonus for more vacation time (it's possible to obtain 4-5 weeks of paid vacation a year!!)

Cons

- Large Enterprise model so expect some red tape in getting things done (has gotten progressively better with CI/CD) - Teams vary widely from team to team regarding the project and tasks - Some teams are doing more support than development. - Reorganization of developers/managers to best tackle projects - this happens out of the blue to the individuals being moved. - Only Hybrid options - fully remote isn't offered to all developers, but I suspect fully remote will progressively become more accepted...hopefully. - Compensation is lower in comparison to other companies in Central Florida

Pros

Good compensation including not just standard pay, but also end of year bonus 80 hours for hourly associates, 8% of your annual earnings granted to you in free company stock thru which quarterly dividends are paid, ok 401k, and gift card and other associate coupons. Good stability and growth. Good company culture.

Cons

Can be slow and resistant to change. Uses some antiquated systems and software that should have been replaced years ago. Does some things that don't make sense. Some managers can be good, while others not very good. Although these cons may be true for a lot of companies. All roads eventually lead to Lakeland where they are headquartered. Geography can be a big one if you are not a Florida native. If you don't want to live in Florida for some legitimate reasons, there can be limited job options in other states, especially if you aren't interested in retail or warehouse jobs. Standard retail negatives about not having a lot of holidays off.
