Pros
The benefits are the best part about working at Purdue. Vacation (22+), sick leave (never had to worry about running out!), personal days (3), and the added bonus of university-designated holidays made work life balance a breeze. I've also not come across any other university or company that has such a generous retirement matching (10% when you contribute 4%).
Cons
There are a lot of siloes and it's difficult to engage with people outside of your own work area,
