      Smart people, interesting work, nice and quiet.

      Cons

      Can have terrible advisors. Mentorship is hit or miss and foreign students can be overworked (not my case but I've heard some horror stories)

      Great collaborative research program with a lot of resources.

      Cons

      Location is inconvenient. Not much going on besides the university.
