Pros

From not bad starting wage up to good wage after 2 years. Benefits pretty good. Some chance for advancement to other positions. Weekends off.

Cons

Depot too small and in poor shape; equipment and even some vehicles often falling apart. Maintenance and vision are often four letter words with this company. Like most places crap flows downhill; be prepared to try to cover your own ass especially if you are near the bottom of the totem pole. Little concern or attempt to improve conditions and processes; more emphasis on who to blame despite all the b.s. management says about "teamwork". Employee hours are cut when things slower; no sales team or anyone else used to help get more business. Split shifts can be exhausting. Everyone making sure their "stats" are good from managers on down. Shortcuts taken to make "stats" look good creates more pressure and work for those at the bottom. Pressure to make up time for things beyond your control (ex. late trailers, scanner errors, etc.) Many payroll errors due to management's "mistakes". No real consequences for management knowingly doing things they aren't supposed to. Employees can be written up, management can't. No consequences financial or otherwise for screwing over employees on "mistakes". Hiring and employee replacement process has to be first done through another city. Questionable choices made on their 'weeding out' process for resumes and a slow process in general. Also, lack of planning when management knows certain employees are on holidays or are going to be away. Grievance process sucks. If your union rep. doesn't file the proper paperwork and quickly send it away you will automatically lose your grievance. If appears you are not allowed to directly file these forms yourself.

Pros

None. Literally nothing. It’s a joke of a company.

Cons

Zero training, accountability, support, diversity, planning, or management. You watch HR spew word vomit that they’re available to support you, but if you speak up to them or any management your job is threatened. HR, upper management, and other departments are allowed to bully people with no reprimand. There is constant retaliation against anyone that has a difference in opinion, even though HR will tell you “That’s not tolerated and shouldn’t happen!” Petty, cliquey, drama filled work place. Teams take turns choosing a target and tearing them down until they leave. The technology and project management of every single department, let alone company wide roll outs are ATROCIOUS! There’s no support from any department and they will badger and bully you to get what they want. Any extra work that they can’t place gets dropped to the lowest man on the totem pole with no incentive or pay increase and if they speak up, they are told “money doesn’t create happiness” They treat people like slave labor. You will be contacted outside of working hours with no compensation, they can’t plan travel with ample time and notice, but will expect you to drop your whole life to accommodate them. Onboarding and offboarding are a joke! There isn’t a single ounce of training, there’s a bunch of outdated links and videos, and you’re thrown in while basically being told “sink or swim” God forbid you ask for training, you’ll be forced to prove a business case for it. HR, upper management, departments that feel they’re superior are allowed to speak to employees like they’re the scum of the earth and bully them on a regular basis to get what they want, how they want it. It is full of people who talk out both sides of their mouths. They preach about wellness, DEI, women in logistics….. but the second any of that is used to support your position you will be torn apart, targeted and pushed out. There’s no room for growth, there’s no support for growth, this is a dead end company. Save yourself the headache and distress, work elsewhere. The picture they paint is a fallacy.
