Pros
We were compensated well. We had the best healthcare coverage imaginable. As a part of the go-to-market team (marketing, sales, customer success) we created our own culture and we worked together very well in a virtual environment.
Cons
Wave after wave of mass layoffs. They were sudden and (at least the most recent one) was timed to minimize health insurance benefits. We were let go at the end of the month, leaving us no chance to apply for ACA coverage. But corporate leadership doesn't care. Whether we put in 4 or even 8 years with the company,, all we got was a quick call with HR to let us know our positions had been eliminated. No further reasons. No thank yous. Nothing. Just horrible treatment on the way out. Beyond that, company culture was just plain bad. Like I say in my "pros" section we made our own culture and developed strong bonds within the marketing team because we had little to no real ties to the team in Israel. It's not for a lack of effort on our part, but leadership in Israel just seemed indifferent to developing that relationship with us in the United States. It was very apparent in the way they cut us all out of the picture in an abrupt and cold manner.
