Pros
The work-to-life balance is one of the greatest perks of being employed by the group. • Scheduled working hours are standardly locked to a routine of five days eight hours shifts with a paid thirty-minute lunch. • Above average health care plans, including eye and dental if you choose. • 401k as you choose the investment plan. • Accrued PTO and 11 federal holidays paid time off.
Cons
The management personnel has a tenancy to demand efforts from employees that were never stated or priorly agreed to within the employment agreements upon initial signing. Have required signed statements of understanding and compliance with a randomly generated memorandum that is not in compliance with company written policy. During initial CONVID situation abatement planning, they instituted a memorandum that required all employees to receive a vaccination before the end of the year and show proof with a scanned copy of the vaccination record card. Group management has demanded that members travel even after signing employment agreements that explicitly state zero percentage of travel is required. Constantly remind staff at weekly meetings that part-time status assignments would be issued to “lack-of-work” team members as the duration of uncontracted work persists. Including the potential of having to be “farmed out” to other groups of the company to support additional work outside of the trade and specific job role and description undersigned agreement. Not indicating these possibilities at the time of the interview or employment agreement signing.
