Pros

Other than gaining P/L experience and leadership skills nothing else is a good about this company

Cons

Excessive Micromanaging, demand the plant manager be a QC tech, safety manager, dispatcher and operate a forklift. The bosses refuse to pay money to actually retain intelligent maintenance techs or maintenance managers and run plants into the ground and expect sunshine and rainbows from you day and day out. The bosses want you turning wrenches, changing belts, operating production equipment all while managing a budget and P/L. Small and medium plants are compared to large plants which is comparable to comparing apples to oranges. The company only cares about money for the jets and Winchesters.

Pros

I can't think of any

Cons

Very old-school management style and, in my experience, lacks a strong values-driven culture. Speaking up or raising concerns was not always welcomed, and at times it felt like employees could be penalized for doing so. Management could be unprofessional, including yelling and dismissive communication. I also observed situations where women were not treated with the same level of respect or fairness. HR did not feel like a reliable resource for employees. It seemed to be involved mainly when management needed support with employee-related issues, rather than serving as a neutral function. There was also a lack of structure around performance reviews, career development, and merit-based salary increases. I would not recommend QK to someone looking for a healthy work environment, professional leadership, or clear growth opportunities.
