Pros
The latest iteration of the products, and the platform strategy are truly leading the market and 2016 is going to be an exciting year for the company. Field Sales are able to run their own territories and are empowered to deliver the results asked of them without too much micromanagement. The UK culture is fun, welcoming and generally a good community to be a part of and I certainly don't think anyone dreads going to the office! The company does a fairly good job of providing you with the technology to do your job, with a good platform of technologies underpinning everything from CRM to HR.
Cons
Qlik prides itself on it's Swedish heritage, but it is now very clearly an American corporate business. Global leadership is increasingly US-centric and very top-heavy compared to overall inside and field resource. Grass roots recruitment and retainment is a real challenge for the company, yet the answer to too many issues seems to be adding more layers of (often US-based) management. Politics are increasing, as the US direction and lack of a Global Sales Strategy becomes a challenge yet to successfully address. Better and more frequent SPIFS would be welcome. The organisation also struggles with the concept of being sales-led, Sales people often feel a need to have to prove why they need resources to get a job done.
