Pros
The engineers, operators, techs and maintanence are nice, but they don't hide the fact that they aren't thrilled about this job.
Cons
There are a lot of very unhappy people here. Management tends to get frustrated when they have to do more than the bare minimum. Qorvo preaches continuous improvement, lean manufacturing and safety first. They do not practice what they preach at all and instead would rather look the other way. They don't even have their employees wear the correct PPE When handling hazardous chemicals. When you bring up any of these concerns, you're lucky to even be acknowledged. You could follow up twice and still be ignored. I've even had a supervisor walk away from me in the middle of a sentence. One former coworker called qorvo "an immature organization" and I absolutely agree. I affectionally referred to it as the garbage factory because all the machinery is outdated, modified and breaks down constantly. I was verbally and physically sexually harassed here. A coworker slapped my behind with a laminated sheet of paper and commented on my body several times a day. This person is still working there.
