Pros
Half or most of the technical staff is truly technically masterful; engineers and technicans at all levels. Most of them are also very friendly, helpful, and understand true teamwork.
Cons
I. Deceitful, disrespectful, and wholly incompetent upper management. Justification: A. Promised a bonus of 4-12% during interview process, but ended up receiving less than 0.5% despite stellar reviews, achievements, certifications, and raving co-worker feedback. Fellow coworkers in similar position B. Upper management is very comfortable disrespecting personal boundaries, and time limitations; very pushy C. Going above and beyond is rarely recognized in meaningful ways D. Lack of understanding of technical aspects, coupled with unwillingness to follow the advice of subject matter experts has lead to many fundamental problems E. Threatning to fire highly-achieving teammates during meetings, if budget cuts were not strictly adhered to F. Refusing to implement meaningful hiring practices to fight attrition and increase the labor force while increasing output to ~200-300% II. Toxic work environment for the other half of the technical staff. Many have been at Qorvo for over a decade and don't want to change how things work, waste time to avoid added work, and can be immature with their social interactions III. Aging toolsets makes support very difficult IV. Raises are failing to meet a 40-year-high inflation. 1-3% raises are insulting in the face of ~10% cost of living increase. A cost of living adjustment has been dismissed on several occasions V. Promotions are gated by quotas
