-Pay rate is not competitive with industry standards. A few years ago, it took a mass exodus of employees being poached to get the company to start issuing pay adjustments in order to retain those who remained. -Sabbaticals are no longer offered after TriQuint Semiconductor merged with RFMD to become Qorvo. -Profit Sharing opportunities were reduced from quarterly to biannually. -Lean Manufacturing culture to the point where employees are expected to perform the work of 2 or 3 people. Overworked employees from operators to engineers are common. -No real job security. Company Reduction In Force and layoffs rear its ugly head every few years. -Shift Management claim Safety and Quality over Moves, but the reality is quite opposite and sends a contradicting message. -Favoritism and a lack of accountability are visible and rampant, including grooming employees with no degree or experience for Supervisor positions, and protecting problematic employees even though the company is "At Will". -Very low chance to receive a meaningful raise or promotion due to various reasons. -Training and onboarding system is unorganized and has been for 15+ years. -Criminal activity, like cars being broken into, have been observed in the parking lot at night. -This company and it's payroll management company UKG has been the target of a data breach, with many people's personal data being compromised. -Most toolsets are old technology. 17 years ago, my trainer told me, "This tool is 20 years old!". We still use that tool. -The company's internal network has been the target of multiple malicious hacking attempts and has caused significant tool host process downtime and material scrap.
