Pros

Amazing benefits - no premiums for healthcare In my department, my coworkers were among the smartest I've worked with. Everyone at this company is high performing and competitive.

Cons

After I left Qualcomm, I received a payout from a lawsuit alleging gender discrimination in the company. From my experience there, this was not surprising at all. I was the only female in my department and often felt over looked - I could describe many situations where this was the case but for brevity I won't. Additionally, this is not the place for working moms. Long hours are expected and I can name coworkers who were passed over on promotions because they were pregnant/ just had become pregnant/ etc. maybe this will change going forward - I hope so - but only time will tell.

Pros

Great design team. Learn a lot in the project. Great resources for self motivated technical improvement.

Cons

Big wave of talented engineers leaving in some critical departments. CEO lacks responsibility on the company development. CEO and CFO have been selling their stocks a lot every year.
