Pros
You get to work on some cutting edge things and have some very knowledgeable coworkers to learn from. Generally really good benefits, and generally great locations.
Cons
Depending on your group, things can be competitive and the norms for expectations tend to drift toward the worse end of work life balance. Pay really doesn't feel competitive for the hours. The group you are in can make or break wanting to stay long term if you value your time. Personal development doesn't always feel like it is occurring as there is always a rush to work on the next thing. Generally way too many hours spent in meetings per week.
