1. poor culture. company founded with accountability, trust, transparency, and teamwork. today there is a deficit in accountability and trust. company attempts to mask this with advertising positive reviews and yet inside people are complaining and pointing fingers when faced with failure. no emphasis on customer satisfaction despite being a company providing commercial products . 2. poor communication vertically and laterally. 3. leadership mostly ignorant of the product, people and processes within their own department. 4. overly political with CEO change leading to strategy and decision making based on who you know rather than the facts 5. poor quality. lack of training in MFG and QC has led to deteriorating product quality. push to release kits has led to deviating from standard processes and even data fabrication (leadership acknowledges this is not acceptable, but fails to act). product management sits back while their products are on fire and attempts damage control messaging rather than correcting the issues. what started as a small company with big dreams of marrying cool technology with the promise of influencing better healthcare is now a sinking ship of nearly 500 employees. comradery is gone and it's a CYA environment with lies lies lies! attempts to correct acknowledged poor culture have backfired with an egotistical and inexperienced CEO at the helm.
