Pros

pay and benefits are good

Cons

Unfortunately, if you are not asian, native hawaiian or phillipino, you will not be welcomed here. I worked at Queen's and met hostility often. Not eveyone, but it is obvious that you are not welcome. Nursing is a tough job without being mistreated by your co-workers. Yes, they need nurses, but unless you know someone, you will have a hard time getting an interview. Managment is not helpful either. It was ridiculous how badly I was treated. Spoke with my nurse manager about one nurse who was totally disrespectul to me and I was told......."that's just the way she is" REALLY??? My concern was not even addressed with the other nurse. So, apparently it is OK to be a total B&^%( toward other RN's.

Pros

They are working hard to get back to pre-pandemic strength. Benefits are good.

Cons

Management is top heavy. They are too many at the at the top with priorities that do not align with one another making it difficult to know the direction of the organization.
