Pros

My development team was my only life line while working here. Without them I would have never made it as long as I did. If you align yourself with the right people you can advance. You do have the availability to work from home. The medical and vacation benefits were good.

Cons

The political games run rampant. There is no work-life balance. Expect to work around 60 hours, plus having a release every Friday night and being on call all weekend. New and innovative ideas are squashed, you are just supposed to do as your told. There is no opportunity to learn. The mangers stay in their glass offices and don't interact with the team, so they will never know what is going on, but complain that nothing is getting done.

Pros

Pay is higher than most in the area. Hours are good. Benefits are good.

Cons

It’s very difficult to get time off for anything, regardless of how much vacation time you have. Only 15% of those hours will carry over and you lose what you’ve worked for and weren’t able to use. Not enough floats to cover the territory so people can actually get time off. Pay raises aren’t very good.
