Pros
Benefits, good pay, great learning experience. Loved the people I worked with.
Cons
Complaints/comments to supervisor were NOT kept confidential; basically you need to be a "snitch" to be in good terms with upper management. Personally found that out the hard way and learned to keep my mouth shut when it comes to disclosing any HONEST issues/concerns/comments to the supervisor about a lead (or any upper management). Training within this department was extremely unorganized and done by an old lady that has been working for the company in this department for 15 years, whom has memory loss, (and is going through menopause) making the entire training process overwhelmingly confusing. She would explain the steps for a certain procedure while leaving out numerous minor (but important) details, and as a result this would get us "newbies" in trouble by other managers/leads because we did something wrong/incorrectly/out of order/missed a step within the procedure of processing specimen samples. Overworked graveyard shifts, NO HOLIDAYS OFF (includes thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE). Also, major LAY OFFS due to company moving locations.
