Good pay - lots of upheaval - Anonymous employee Quest Diagnostics Employee Review

Constantly in upheaval in the IT department. Lay-offs used to be once a year - but this recently shifted to at least 4 go rounds within the past year. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who is selected to be let go. With company 15+ years and that means very little. Many jobs are now being outsourced. It appears that this company has lost site of its values where the patient is first and is what drove us, now it seems the only true measure is the bottom line. Enjoyed the challenge of the interfaces, not so much the challenges of the ever changing organization.
