Pros

Quest was a great place to work. People were always focused, intent on winning and got things done when it was needed Great culture within product sets.

Cons

PE strangled what were good products without investing or updating. However, plenty of money to burn on unproven, obsolete, companies & products to get into the AI market. They simply abandoned long standing, dedicated enterprise customers using legacy products and laid off all their experienced workers that supported them. I still don't understand how their still in business, it won't be long. Get what you can while you can. It's turned very toxic with turnover from upper management from my understanding. Eventually you'll just be another statistic with a bullseye on your back.

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
