Pros

Collaborative Innovative Casual People are great Technology constantly evolving Level of transparency and accountability not found at other companies When times are tough, look for employees to give back vacation instead of reducing headcount

Cons

Some units within the company are not as well organized and run as others Had a rough run for a couple of years financially where comp was not advanced or club cancelled Compensation opportunities are fairly limited SEC Options investigation caused a big drain on focus and had a high cost for what turned out to be minor adjustment of dates for two or three disbursements out of 20 or so. Truly awful enforcement and then diminished a compensation opportunity that was not replaced. Thanks SEC

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
