Pros

Great people to work with. Bright, talented, genuine good people. Good pay. Good benefits. Great managers and Dev managers. Hours and vacation are great. Offices and locations are great. Positions are great building awesome products. BTW, my rating would be a 5 star, with proper leaders.

Cons

Senior leadership! This leadership team cares more about social justice issues than it does about it's employees and growing the business Ultra micro managing senior leaders in my BU. CEO gets asks hard relevant questions, and answers with “Let me tell you what they meant to ask” and then proceeds to say whatever he wants except addressing the question. No confidence in Patrick. Leadership team talks about becoming a growth company, promises will do the right things for the business, so they layed off employees, didn’t revise any schedules, and then proceeded to hire 3 CxO level people that they worked with elsewhere. Growth to this leadership team means closing offices, restricting travel and saying “Look at the OPEX savings, aren’t we awesome!”

Pros

Quest Software is a great place to work. The people are genuinely good people, very knowledgeable, and always willing to help. Quest is a strong environment if you enjoy solving complex technical problems, working with experienced teams, and helping customers address real business and security challenges. The company has a deep portfolio, talented employees, and many opportunities to collaborate across sales, presales, product management, engineering, and customer-facing teams. I also appreciate the flexibility, the trust given to senior employees, and the ability to contribute strategically beyond a narrow job description.

Cons

Like many large technology organizations, processes can sometimes be complex, and internal alignment across teams may take time. There are also opportunities to improve enablement, communication, and consistency around product packaging, roadmap visibility, and internal workflows.
