Pros
QT is a well oiled machine with great training, a solid corporate structure with responsive HR, and lots of opportunities for upward movement or relocating with the company. It's pretty easy at a slower store to get out of a shift early if needed, find someone via the internal system to take a shift, or request time off in advance that is almost always honored.
Cons
On your feet all shift with no scheduled breaks. Need to pee? Good luck during a rush. Working 10 hours and haven't eaten? Better devour your food before the next customer walks up to the register, Didn't bring a lunch? Don't even think about eating a written off sandwich or deli item, those are food waste now you'll have to pay full price for your meal. There is no break area in the stores. Getting a free second to drink some water, grab a bite, sit down, or go to the bathroom can be impossible some shifts (how this is legal I still don't understand). But don't worry, if you're manager is a smoker and you take up the habit they'll almost always let you take smoke breaks while your coworkers fend off the customers.
