Pros
Great Pay, Set Schedule (even though it sucks), Benefits.
Cons
I really dislike how inconsistent everyone's experience is at QuikTrip. You would think that in a well-established company, top performers would have the best experiences as employees. But performance is not what makes or breaks your experience; it's your ability to suck up to the people above you. You can work as hard as you want, but it can get you nowhere if you don't know how to kiss up. The worst part is that you literally have the kids till to the lowest grade of human beings. Specifically, I'm talking about the Dallas market in the Division Office, starting from the top with Terrence and Jen. These two are equally skilled at making employees work for them out of fear rather than respect. To be completely honest, nobody in that office really likes them. They just have to tolerate them and keep Kiki happy in order to be successful. I truly feel sorry for those who have to deal with them daily, but even so, the fact that you're able to fake it and put these two bullies on a pedestal shows a lot about your character as well. The Dallas market will never reach its potential with the toxins of Jen and Terrence as leaders because this trickles down from the top to the bottom. Whenever they decide to get back to the basics and focus on skills and dedication rather than personality and looks, the company's morale (something Terrence claims he is big on) will improve. But as of now, over half of that division hates their jobs, and it's because the people in the office hate Jen and Terrence. This causes the Supervisors to hate their jobs, which trickles down to the managers, and at that point, you have entire store teams dreading every day they come to work. GET THE BULLIES OUT! Having two pit bulls as DMs is not what Dallas needs.
