Pros
The pay has increased since I started to something remotely decent but still has way to go to be something worth jumping for. They basically leave you alone once you're hired and show that you aren't incompetent.
Cons
Tone deaf president who only emails college for two reasons: to self-congratulate and to inform the staff that someone's relative has died (extremely odd and creepy of him to do so). Otherwise, little in the way of real leadership. They talk a lot about improving the student experience but it's more lipstick on a pig type solutions. They are trying to expand to an online campus but have such poor infrastructure to support it it's going to be a rolling disaster...they are trying to be SNHU without the necessary staff...instead they want to hire more useless admins. Adjuncts submit lists of classes they'd like to teach....months later, typically two weeks before next semester starts, dean gets around to assigning courses. Makes planning extremely difficult. The "adjunct office" is a glorified mail room with a few old crappy computers. No private space for adjuncts to meet with students unless they commandeer a room or someone's office. No department chairs and deans are basically non-responsive unless you corner them in their office or hallway.
